Site Conceptual Model <br /> October 3, 2002 <br /> ARCO Facility No 6100 <br /> migrate to Sand 2 Adequate characterization of dissolved hydrocarbons in Sand 1 has <br /> been achieved <br /> • Free product is present in monitoring well MW-1 and slowly recharges when product is <br /> removed Approximately 56 gallons of free product have been removed from well MW-1 <br /> since September 2000 <br /> • Lateral conveyance piping, for future use in soil vapor extraction, was installed during <br /> site renovation activities in January and February 2002 Lateral conveyance piping has <br /> been connected to wells VW-1, VW-3, VW-4, VW-6, VW-7, VW-8, VW-11 through <br /> VW-14, VW-16, and MW-2 through MW-9 The conveyance piping was stubbed up at <br /> the northwest corner of the property to be manifolded for connection to an SVE system at <br /> a later date <br /> • An onsite water supply well provides water for the ARCO facility Petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons have never been detected in water samples collected from the well <br /> • The depth to the regional water table is not known, but appears to be deeper than 200 feet <br /> bgs, the total depth explored during site assessment activities The water supply well is <br /> perforated between approximately 396 and 416 feet bgs and 496 to 536 feet bgs The <br /> standing water level in the water supply well has consistently been measured between 40 <br /> and 45 feet bgs The water supply well at the ARCO facility appears to be perforated <br /> across a confined water bearing unit <br /> • One potential off-site receptor have been identified,he artesian well southeast of the site <br /> P 1Bp-Arco for URS161001Reports16100 SCM doe Page 15 Stratus <br />
