LABORATORY NARRATIVE
Modified TO-14A GC/MS/FID
Condor Earth Technologies
Rrorkorder# 0410170
Two 6 Liter Summa Canister samples were received on October 08, 2004. The laboratory performed the
analysis via Modified Method TO- 14A using GC/MS/FID. The method involves direct injection of a sample
aliquot into a vapor management system. The sample passes directly into the GC/MS/FID for analysis .
following dehumidification. The TPH results are calculated using a response factor derived from Gasoline. A
molecular weight of 100 is used to convert the TPH ppbv result to ugbiI See the data sheets for reporting
limits.
Requirement T044A/T0-15 ITL Modifications
Sample Drying System Nation Drier Multisorbent
Sample Load Volume 400 mL Up to 100 mL. -
- - Blank Acceptance Criteria < 0.2ppbv, < RL
Dilutions for Initial Calibration Dynamic dilutions or Syringe dilutions, fixed volume sampling loop, metered
static using canisters - volume
Sample Collection Media Summa Canister ATL recommends use of Summa canisters to insure data
defensibility, but will report results from Tedlar bags at
client request.
RT Window Study (FID Only) Mean +/- 3 X STD +/- 0.08 min.
