The purpose of the proposed work is <br /> to conduct an IDW profile, and to coordinate with contractors the removal of drummed petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon contaminated soil and monitor well purge water to an approved waste disposal facility. <br /> We requested separate quotes for disposal of soil and water because we have not found contractors that <br /> transport both soil and water IDW. American Valley Waste Oil in Delhi, California, as the only water <br /> IDW handler in this area, is the water IDW contractor; Condor has been pleased with their services in the <br /> past. For soil IDW disposal, we Del-Tech Geotechnical Support Services provided a high bid and Ramos <br /> did not respond to our bid request; therefore, we based our estimate from the lowest bid response <br /> provided by Manley & Sons Trucking, Inc. <br /> This pre- approval request includes the following items as attachments: <br /> 1 . Pre-Approval Request Form <br /> 2. Manley & Sons Trucking, Inc. Bid Response <br /> 3 , Del-Tech Geotechnical Support Service Bid Response <br /> 4, American Valley Waste Oil Bid Response <br /> 5 . Detailed scope of work and cost estimate. <br /> On behalf of Mr. Remo Canepa, Condor respectfully requests that the three-bid requirement for <br /> consulting services be waived.
