Otiarrerly Monitoring Report April 2000 <br /> Canepa s Car Wadi(Vau Iiu Avenue) <br /> Page -4 <br /> 4 2 LABORATORY ANALYSES <br /> The groundwater samples were analyzed by Gc6Analytlical Laboratories, Inc for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-G) by Method 5030/LUFT and for benzene, toluene, ethyl <br /> benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) and methyl tertiary-butyl ether(MTBE) by EPA Method 8020 <br /> Laboratory analyses indicate that none of the analytes of interest were detected at or above the laboratory <br /> reported detection limits In the groundwater samples collected from MW-5, MW-6, MW-7, and MW-8 <br /> BTEX and MTBE were detected In the groundwater sample collected from monitor well MW-1 at <br /> concentrations of 940, 620, 81, 310, and 840 micrograms per liter (µg/L), respectively TPI-1-G was <br /> detected in the groundwater sample collected frorn MW-1 at a concentration of 5 milligrams per liter <br /> I (mg/L) BTEX and TPH-G were detected in the groundwater sample collected from monitor well MW-2 <br /> at concentr atrons of 38,000 µg/L, 2,100 µg/L, 1,500 µg/L, 5,900 p,g/L, and 61 mg/L, respectively MTBE <br /> was not detected at or above a raised laboratory detection limit(400 jig/L, necessitated by the high levels <br /> I of other analytes) in the groundwater sample collected from MW-2 MTBE was detected in the <br /> groundwater sample collected from MW-3 at a concentration of 15 µg/L Toluene and TPH-G were <br /> detected in the groundwater sample collected from monitor well MW-4 at concentrations of 1 3 µg/L and <br /> I 0 12 mg/L, respectively MTBE was detected in the groundwater sample collected from soil vapor <br /> extraction well SV-9 at a concentration of 9,700 µg/l- BTEX and TPH-G were not detected at or above <br /> raised laboratory reported detection limits in the groundwater sample collected from SV-9 (see <br /> I laboratory report for detection limits) A surnmary of the laboratory analytical results is presented n1 <br /> Table 2 and in Figure 3, Appendix A Laboratory report sheets indicating analytical methods used, <br /> detection Irmrts, and the results of the analyses are included in Appendix C Historical groundwater <br /> Ianalyses are presented in Table A, Appendix B <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i`� CONDOR <br />
