REPORT <br /> QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> FIRST QUARTER-JANUARY 1999 <br /> Canepa's Car Wash <br />' 6230 Pacific Avenue <br /> Stockton, California <br /> February 8, 1999 <br /> I10 INTRODUCTION <br /> Condor Earth Cecllnologles, Inc (Condor) conducted quarterly groundwater monitoring on January 21 <br /> and 22, 1999, at the Canepa's Car Wash facility located at 6230 Pacific Avenue in Stockton, California <br /> (Figure 1, Appendix A) This report was prepared by Condor at the request of the property owner, Mr <br /> Remo Canepa <br /> The scope-of-work performed during the quarterly groundwater monitoring event was described in <br /> Condor's Proposal fol Site Evaluation and Groundwater Monitor ang (April S 1996) The scope-of-work <br /> presented In the proposal was approved by Mr Ronald Rowe of the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) The PHS/131-11D subsequently modified the <br /> approved scope-of-work to include gasoline oxygenates/additives analysis of the site groundwater <br /> samples This report includes a site background, a description of the fieldwork and laboratory analyses <br /> performed for the January 1999, quarterly groundwater monitoring event, discussion of results, and <br /> recommendations <br /> 2.0 SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Canepa's Car Wash consists of an automated car washing facility, a fuel station, and a convenience store <br /> (Figure 2, Appendix A) fhe car wash and fuel station have been in operation for approximately 20 <br /> years <br />' In the Spring of 1993, three underground storage tanks (USTs), fuel Imes and dispensers were removed <br /> a replaced _ th a li.
