Canepa's Car Wash <br /> 6230 Pacific Avenue,Stockton,CA <br /> First Quarter Groundwater Monitoring Report,January 2004 <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br /> • SOIL VAPOR EXTRACTION SYSTEM <br /> The SVE system was shut down on January 31, 2003, to allow for modifications to the system and <br /> property development, and has not been sampled since December 19, 2002. SJEHD approved a remedial <br /> action plan for upgrading the system and installing a groundwater pump and treat system that will operate <br /> in tandem with the upgraded SVE system. Please reference the following section for additional <br /> information regarding the anticipated remediation. <br /> FUTURE WORK <br /> Condor submitted a Problem Assessment Report (PAR) and Corrective Action Plan (CAP), dated October <br /> 18, 2002, for the site. The CAP recommended preparation of a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) to describe <br /> the proposed remediation design. Condor prepared the RAP dated March 3, 2003 and submitted it to the <br /> SJCEHD for approval. In a letter dated October 17, 2003, SJCEHD approved the RAP submitted by <br /> Condor dated March 3, 2003. Condor is currently conducting project planning/coordination/permitting . <br /> activities associated with the remediation and anticipates starting the fieldwork in spring 2004. The next <br /> quarterly groundwater monitoring event is scheduled for April 2004 and will include sampling of the <br /> quarterly sampled monitor wells (MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW4, MW-9, MW-11, and MW-12D) and soil <br /> vapor extraction well SV-4. <br /> LIMITATIONS AND SIGNATURE <br /> This report was prepared under the direct supervision of a Registered Geologist in the State of California. <br /> The standard of care for all services performed or furnished by Condor is commensurate with the care and <br /> skill ordinarily used by a member of the environmental profession practicing under similar conditions at <br /> the same time in the same locality. Condor is not responsible for the accuracy and completeness of <br /> information collected and developed by others. <br /> This report was prepared for the sole use of Remo Canepa, and may not be used or relied upon by any <br /> other person(s) without the express written consent and authorization of Remo Canepa and Condor. If any <br /> changes are made or errors found in the information used for this report, the interpretations and <br /> conclusions contained herein shall not be considered valid unless the changes or errors are reviewed by <br /> Condor and either appropriately modified or re-approved in writing.
