March 2005 Monthly Treated Water Self Monitoring Report—1707C Canepa's Car Wash,Stockton,CA Page 2 • LABORATORY ANALYTICAL RESULTS A treated water sample collected from the mid-tank and final discharge point was delivered under chain- of-custody procedures to Argon Laboratories, of Ceres, California(Argon) The sample was analyzed for Benzene, Toluene, Etbyl-benzene, Xylene (BTEX), Methyl-t-Butyl Ether (MTBE), Dl-Isopropyl Ether (DIPE), Ethyl-t-Butyl Ether (ETRE), t-Amyl Methyl Ether (TAME), t-Butyl Alcohol (TBA) The mid- tank and treated water final discharge laboratory analytical methods, results, reporting limits and discharge limits are presented in Table 2, below Laboratory certificates of analysis and the chain-of- custody record are included in Attachment A The laboratory results for the final discharge sample indicated that MTBE was detected at a concentration of 43 pg/I and benzene was detected at a concentration of 0 6 µg/1 These concentrations exceed the discharge limits set forth in the discharge permit The other laboratory analytes were not detected at or above the permit and laboratory detection limits Table 2--Treated Water Monitoring Laboratory Analytical Results CONSTITUENT Muniturin Event —.
