Canepa's Car Wash <br /> .t 6230 Pacific Avenue,Stockton,CA <br /> Third Quarter Groundwater Monitoring Report,July 2004 <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br /> • SOIL VAPOR EXTRACTION SYSTEM <br /> The SVE system was shut down on January 31, 2003, to allow for modifications to the system and <br /> property development, and has not been sampled since December 19, 2002 SJEHD approved a remedial <br /> action plan for upgrading the system and installing a groundwater pump and treat system that will operate <br /> in tandem with the upgraded SVE system Please reference the following section for additional <br /> information regarding the anticipated remediation <br /> FUTURE WORK <br /> Condor submitted a Problem Assessment Report(PAR) and Corrective Action Plan (CAP), dated October <br /> 18, 2002, for the site The CAP recommended preparation of a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) to describe <br /> the proposed remediation design Condor prepared the RAP dated March 3, 2003 and submitted it to the <br /> SJCEHD for approval In a letter dated October 17, 2003, SJCEHD approved the RAP submitted by <br /> Condor dated March 3, 2003 Condor is currently conducting installation of the treatment systems and <br /> anticipates start-up of the systems in October 2004 The next quarterly groundwater monitoring event is <br /> scheduled for October 2004 and will include sampling of quarterly monitor wells MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, <br /> MW-9, MW-12D and soil vapor extraction well SV-4 Monitor wells MW-5, MW-6, MW-7, and MW-10 <br /> are sampled annually in the third quarter and will not be sampled during the October 2004 monitoring <br /> event Monitor wells MW-1 and MW-11 will be extraction wells and will be sampled separately to meet <br /> the requirements of the pump and treat system permits <br /> s <br /> 4M <br /> is CONDOR <br />
