Program Coordinator
San Joaquin County Health Department
304 E. Weber Avenue
Stockton, CA 95202
In response to our Facility inspection dated June 30, and July 14, 2006, the following
items have been corrected:
#21- A used oil container in the Satellite Accumulation Area had a funnel in it. All
Hazardous waste containers must be closed except when adding or removing waste.
We have removed the funnel, and put the bung back onto the drum. The employees
who perform the job have been reminded of the rules and a visual reminder is posted
above the drum.
#64- The above ground used oil tank had no certification. Provide certification or take
the tank out of service.
We have purchased a new tank with proper certification. It will be in service on August
15, 2006. We will properly dispose of the old used oil tank.
#76- Universal Waste was not labeled with the words Universal Waste. Immediately
add the words Universal Waste to all Universal Waste.
Universal Waste has been properly labeled.
#93- Two 55 gallon used oil drums were stored in a Satellite Accumulation Area. The
generator may only accumulate 55 gallons of waste at the point of generation.
The additional 55 gallon drum was removed from the area.
If you have any additional questions, please give me a call.
Cynthia Barber
Safety and Environmental Manager
Heinz North America, Stockton Facility
209-932-5746
