As Mr.Anton mentioned,there iss-a lot of emotion associated <br /> with ground water,particularly in an area of such as ours where ground water is the major source <br /> of drinking water and for everything else. I'm.actually jw going to speak about a few things, <br /> one of which,the beginning one of which is the staff repeatedly states in their staff report that the <br /> ground water in the vicinity of this site is generally of inferior quality and is not viewed by Weal <br /> rVr �S � <br /> ` rv' o � sin the area are generally constructed <br /> prevayors as a source of drinking waterI ht-tnunicipal well g y <br /> witherseals with depths of 150 to 200 feet and that shallow ground water at this site is not <br /> ek, 4U'S <br /> hydraulically connected to deep -I've provided you with a ropy of a list of City of <br /> Stockton wells that was prepared for the State Office Office of Drinking Water in 1983,when <br /> they were doing;a survey for AB 1803 and you'll notice that of the 24 wells listed,half of them <br /> have annaler seals that ate less Than 50 feet deep and only 2 of the 24 have seals that are greater <br /> than 104 feet. I've also attached copies of well logs and constructions details,the 2 additional <br /> i wells of the City of Stockton which were added.in 1989 and both of these have well seals that are <br /> 3 <br />
