The following i an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for UCKEN HAMS STUTTGART WEST INC as of January13, 2016. <br /> Open violations from July 14,2015 inspection <br /> Violation#102 -Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste or retain waste analysis on site for 3 <br /> years. <br /> Spent bead blaster media rom the bead blaster are being disposed of in the dumpster according to Nick Rushing, <br /> service manager. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is hazardous waste. Immediately <br /> stop disposing the spent bead blaster media rom the bead blaster in the dumpster, make a hazardous waste <br /> determination for the speni bead blaster media from the bead blaster, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardOL <br /> waste regulations if necessary. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br /> managed. <br /> Violation#117 -Failed to report program data electronically. <br /> A submission to the Califor is Electronic Reporting System (CERS)for the hazardous waste program has not been <br /> made. Beginning January , 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new(or any changes to existing) <br /> hazardous waste informati n online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include your hazardous <br /> waste activity in the Busine ses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities and required <br /> fields. <br /> Violation#605-Failed to ompletely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> 2-55 gallon drums of used oil were found with an illegible hazardous label and 1-55 gallon drum of waste antifreeze <br /> lacked the accumulation st rt date and generator information. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with <br /> the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous aste" <br /> -name and address of enerator <br /> -hazardous properties (oxic, reactive, corrosive, or flammable) <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start dat <br /> Immediately label these co tainers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br /> it cannot be determined ho long the 2-55 gallon drums of used oil and 1-55 gallon of waste antifreeze have been o <br /> site, immediately contact a icensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a <br /> copy of the manifest to the HD. <br /> Violation#608 -Failed to 3roperly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> A 55 gallon drum of draine used oil filters was found with the accumulation start date 4/16/14. Facilities that <br /> generate up to one ton of u ed oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that generate one for <br /> or more of used oil filters m y store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of <br /> lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
