Environmental Health Department <br /> This lette� is a statement documenting what corrective actions were taken <br /> for each violation. Copies of sample results/manifests/training records/and other <br /> paperwork and photos that verify the corrections are included. <br /> Violation . Metal fines generated from lathe - The metal fines generated <br /> from our metal lathe are being recycled as scap metal. The metal fines are not <br /> hazardous waste, ie. particles are not bigger than 100 microns, nor is the type of <br /> metal hazardou . <br /> Violation 0. & 50. Oil drums with blank labels - The drums of oil have <br /> been emptied arid oil has been disposed of by a licensed hazardous waste <br /> hauler, and new labels posted to these drums with appropriate information filled <br /> out. Included are two pictures of the new labels adheased to the drums, also <br /> attatched, you w�ll find a copy of the invoice from the hazardous waste hauler. <br /> Violation 23. Drum of used oil filters - The drum of used oil filter has been <br /> appropriately re ycled under a bill of lading. The start date has also been <br /> updated. Includ d you will find a copy of the invoice. <br /> Violation 7. Same two drums had vent holes drilled on top - All <br /> hazardous wast containers are now closed at all times except when adding or <br /> removing waste We have closed the vent holes with silicone and screws. <br /> Included are two pictures of the drums, which are now completely closed. <br /> Violation 52.
