' 6 V� <br /> A SVE test was performed to March 1992 by RESNA(Vapor Extraction Test Results, <br /> letter report, RESNA, January, 4, 1993) RESNA reported that the results of this test show <br /> that, with a wellhead flow rate of 43 cubic feet per minute (cfm), an estimated radius of influ- <br /> ence of approximately 25 feet could be achieved for one vapor extraction well <br /> ' In July 1994, Pacific Environmental Group, Inc (PEG) installed two off-site <br /> momtonng wells (MW-8 and MW-9), (Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation, letter <br /> report, Pacific Environmental Group, October 4, 1994) Sample results from these monitoring <br /> 1 <br /> wells indicated the lateral extent of dissolved hydrocarbons in groundwater to be hrruted to an <br /> ' area south and east of the former underground storage tanks The extent of hydrocarbons was <br /> delineated to nondetect levels to the northeast(downgradient)in Well MW-7, and to the north <br /> ' (crossgradient)in Wells MW-1 and MW-5 TPHg was detected to the southwest (upgradient) <br /> in Well MW-8, and to the south (crossgradient) in Well MW-9, at concentrations of 93 and <br /> ' 110 micrograms per liter (ug/L), respectively Benzene was not detected rn Wells MW-8 and <br /> MW-9 <br /> i <br /> In 1996, PEG performed a 6-month, on-site, SVE pilot study PEG estimated <br /> (Remedial Action Performance Summary - October through December 1996, letter report, <br /> Pacific Environmental Group, February 4, 1997) that approximately 2,745 pounds (450 <br /> ' gallons) of TPH-g and 12 pounds (1 6 gallons) of benzene were removed by SVE during the <br /> ' pilot study <br /> 1 <br />
