Cal Fuels, 2 102 Pacific Avenv- page 1 of 2
r
Frank Girardi [EH]
From: Timothy Cuellar[tcuellar@advgeoenv.com)
Sent: Monday, March 26, 2007 3:48 PM
To: Frank Girardi [EH)
Cc: Nuel Henderson [EH); Bob Marty
Subject: Cal Fuels, 2402 Pacific Avenue
Attachments: Cal Fuels USTCF Comments 0207.pdf
Frank,
As we discussed last week out in the field at RMB Garage, I would like to set-up a meeting between AGE,
yourself and Nuel to discuss the overall status of the above site. I realize your department is in the middle of a
move, so we could meet at AGE's office. In general, I want to set up the meeting to discuss the general over-all
status of this site, and to get some regulatory direction from the SJCEHD.
This site has been scrutinized by the USTCF, and they have commented that they will no longer reimburse for
any remediation costs for this site, and that it's their opinion that the site no longer has any significant
hydrocarbon impact, and that the site should be considered for closure. I have attached a copy of the USTCF
comments for SJCEHD review. I would like to discuss the USTCF letter.
CC SJ
Some other issues for this site that I would like to discuss are:
1) SVE and IAS remedial progress at the site. Would like to discuss either temporary or permanently
suspending SVE and ]AS operations at the site.
2) 1 want to discuss whether or not enough remediation/investigation has been accomplished to warrant
closure for this site.
3)Quarterly ground water monitoring program.Would like to discuss reduction in the quarterly ground water
monitoring program.
4') Impact encountered at deep-screened well MW-13. 1 want to discuss with the SJCEHD whether or not the
impact encountered at well MW-13 warrants additional assessment.
After discussing with Nuel, If you get back to me on some potential meeting dates, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks-Tim
I
Timothy Joseph Cuellar
Project Geologist
Advanced GeoEnvironnienfall.Inc.
(209) 167-1006
tctellattuacl.rgcoenv.cora
This einuilXtx rnessaue is for the sole use of'ihe irrtendccd recipicrrl(s} and rnay contain cogfi dential andprivileged
infin- alion.
