The pre-approved amount includes costs for activities related to the installations of eight borings to 60' bgs.each using Geoprobe and four 60 foot groundwater monitoring wells with two completed as dual nested wells. Such activities include project management,report preparation,permit/permitting, equipment, materials, well development/survey, and laboratory analyses (8015m/8020 for TPHg/TPHd/BTEX, 8240/8260 for MtBE and other oxygenates). Upon completion of the work,you are required to submit the results to the County and the Fund for reviews. Note: Costs associated with monitoring, investigating, and remediating non-petroleum contaminants, i.e., VOCs are not eligible for funding, . Be aware that this pre-approval does not constitute a decision on reimbursement: all reasonable and necessary corrective action costs for work directed and approved by the County will be eligible for reimbursement per the terms of your Letter of Commitment at costs consistent with those pre-approved in this letter. All future costs for corrective action must be approved in writing by Fund staff.
