The pre-approved amount includes costs for activities related to the <br /> installations of eight borings to 60' bgs.each using Geoprobe and four 60 foot groundwater monitoring <br /> wells with two completed as dual nested wells. Such activities include project management,report <br /> preparation,permit/permitting, equipment, materials, well development/survey, and laboratory analyses <br /> (8015m/8020 for TPHg/TPHd/BTEX, 8240/8260 for MtBE and other oxygenates). Upon completion <br /> of the work,you are required to submit the results to the County and the Fund for reviews. Note: Costs <br /> associated with monitoring, investigating, and remediating non-petroleum contaminants, i.e., VOCs are <br /> not eligible for funding, . <br /> Be aware that this pre-approval does not constitute a decision on reimbursement: all reasonable and <br /> necessary corrective action costs for work directed and approved by the County will be eligible for <br /> reimbursement per the terms of your Letter of Commitment at costs consistent with those pre-approved <br /> in this letter. <br /> All future costs for corrective action must be approved in writing by Fund staff. Future casts for <br /> corrective action must meet the requirements of Article 11, Chapter 16, Underground Storage Tank <br /> Regulations. <br /> • The actual costs and scope of work performed must be consistent with the pre-approval for it to <br /> remain valid. <br /> • The work products must be acceptable to the-County artd the Reg�g tonal Water ty "4 '� <br /> t, .. .. - .
