Install 5 confirmation soil borings on site to a depth of approximately 50 feet beneath surface <br /> grade (bgs) to assess remnant hydrocarbon concentrations and determine if continuing remedial <br /> operation is necessary. <br /> 2. Soil samples will be collected a five-foot intervals beginning at a depth of 5 feet bsg as <br /> described in the workplan. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. Implement proposed work to install 5 confirmation borings by October 14,2007. <br /> 2. The workplan proposes a rebound test for the soil vapor extraction (SVE) operation. Submit a <br /> workplan to EHD for conducting the rebound test.-EHD`approves shutting down the SVE <br /> system for preparation of the rebound test. <br /> 3. EHD will also consider the reduction of monitoring well sampling frequencies for selected <br /> monitoring wells on site. Submit a revised monitoring well sampling program with proposed <br /> sampling frequencies for each monitoring well. <br /> 4.
