(AGE) is scheduling the
installation of soil vapor extraction wells, a ground water well and soil vapor extraction system to
start on 15 March 2004.
At this time, AGE has recommended to the property owner that the scope of work proposed within
the Remedial Action Work Plan be reviewed for cost approval by the State water Resources Control
Board-Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund.Currently, costs for the operation and monitoring
of the ground water remediation system at the site have been listed as partially ineligible by the Fund,
pending the property owners purchase of the ground water treatment system. Therefore, a
considerable financial burden has been placed on the property owner, until the reimbursement of funds
for the system operational costs are recovered.
Once the reimbursement of funds has occurred, the property owner has instructed AGE to perform
the approved scope of work. Therefore,AGE is requesting the above mentioned extension of 60 days
for the initiation of the scope of work at 4511 Pacific Avenue in Stockton, California.
AGE will submit a drilling permit and application fee to the EHD. If you have any questions or
require further information, please contact our office at (209) 467-1006.
Sincerely, 64, +I
0
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
2G(6
William R.
