l21 December 2005
• AGE-NC Project No 95-0128
' 3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF MONITORING WELL GROUND WATER SAMPLES
TPH-g was only reported in ground water samples from vapor well VW-1 and monitoring well
' MW-4 at concentrations of 800 micrograms per liter (µg11) and 130 µg/l, respectively
MTBE was reported in the samples collected from monitoring wells MW-4, MW-I IA, MW-I IB
and MW-18 at concentrations of 6 8 µg/l, 8 2 µg/l, 9 5 µg/1 and 29 µg/l, respectively
BTEX compounds were reported in sample VW-1 at concentrations of 9 9 µg11 ethyl-benzene and
7 0 µg/1 total xylenes Benzene was not reported in ground water samples
No additional target analytes were detected at or above laboratory reporting limits in the samples
analyzed The analytical results are summarized in Tables 2 and 3 The laboratory report (CTEL
Project No CT214-0508085), including quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) and chain of
custody forms for the quarterly monitoring event are included in Appendix C Documents confirming
the upload of laboratory electronic deliverable format(EDF)files and depth to water measurements
to GeoTracker are included in Appendix D
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
' The following conclusions were drawn from the results of this quarterly investigation
• The depth to ground water on 11 August 2005 ranged from 33 21 feet(MW-18)to 36 30 feet
(MW-13)below the tops of the well casings The ground water elevation ranged from 21 21
feet(MW-7)to 23 41 feet(MW-17)below MSL The depth to ground water averaged 36 14
feet this quarter, a decrease of approximately 2 4 feet since the last sampling event
• TPH-g was only reported in ground water samples from vapor well VW-I and monitoring
well MW-4 at a maximum concentration of 800 µg/l (VW-1)
• MTBE was reported in the samples collected from monitoring wells MW-4,MW-11 A,MW-
1113 and MW-18 at a maximum concentration of 29µg/l(MW-18) MTBE was not reported
in any of the samples collected from the previous quarter Figure 4 depicts the MTBE
concentrations at the site during this quarter
I0 BTEX compounds were reported in sample VW-1 at concentrations of 9 9µg/1 ethyl-benzene
and 7 0 µg/l total xylenes Benzene was not reported in ground water samples
IAdvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
