IQuarterly Report - Third Quarter 2004 <br /> PACIFIC MINI-MART <br /> 4511 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Art Wyatt, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for 4511 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California (site) This report documents the <br /> procedures for collection and analysis of ground w ater samples from the well network and the results <br /> I of the monitoring event The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 Structures, monitoring <br /> well and soil boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 The site history and a description of <br /> previous work performed at the site are detailed in Appendix A Data from previous ground water <br /> monitoring events are included in the tables of this report <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> The field procedures were performed in accordance with procedures outlined in Remedial Action <br /> Work Plan,prepared by AGE, dated 22 December 2003, and approved by the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD)by letter, dated 23 December 2003 <br /> lie 2 1 GROUND WATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING <br /> On 12 July 2004, a ground water monitoring and sampling event was conducted on selected wells <br /> in the monitoring well network <br /> I 2 1 1 Ground Water Monitoringand Purging <br /> g g <br /> IOn 12 July 2004, a Solrnst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-18 and vapor well VW-1 The groundwater elevation in each <br /> I well was calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the surveyed casing <br /> elevation (Table 2) <br /> On 12 July 2004, a minimum of three casing-water volumes were purged from the following wells <br />. lVlYYl-1, 1Vl`Y,-2,1Vl YYT--t3 1V.LVV-5, lVlYYT-V,ivi YY'-11 A;j, 1V1`v YT-1 J,1Vl1YYT-1t alld ivi YYr-18 Usll lg a�YY,a tera <br /> inertia pump or disposal bailer Temperature, pH and conductivity of purged ground water was <br /> measured at various intervals,depending on the volume of water in each well,using an Oakton water <br /> analyzer The field data and field sheets are included in Appendix B Purged water was discharged <br /> into the active ground water treatment system for treatment and disposal <br /> Advanced Geolinvi ron mental Inc <br />
