I <br />' Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2002 <br /> PACIFIC MINI-MART <br />' 4511 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Mr Art Wyatt, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the site located at 4511 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California (the site) The <br /> location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1, structures,monitoring well and soil boring locations are <br /> illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> The site history and a description of previous work performed at the site were detailed in the AGE- <br /> prepared Quarterly Report-March 1996, dated 30 April 1996 Findings from the latest soil and grab <br /> ground water sampling event were detailed in the AGE-prepared Quarterly Report - June 1998, <br /> dated 22 December 1998 The field procedures for the work reported herein were performed in <br /> accordance with procedures outlined in the AGE-prepared Monitoring Well Installation and Interim <br /> Ground Water Remediation, dated 26 October 2000, and approved by the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) by letter dated 01 November 2000 Data from previous <br /> ground water monitoring events are included in the tables of this report <br /> • The scope of work included operation and maintenance of a shallow ground water extraction system <br />' and monitoring of the ground water monitoring well network on the site and off the site This report <br /> documents the operation of a low-flow ground water remediation system, the procedures for <br /> collection and analysis of ground water samples from the well network and the results of a ground <br /> water and treatment system monitoring events <br /> r2 0. GROUND WATER MONITORING PROCEDURES <br /> I On 14 and 15 February 2002, a quarterly ground water monitoring and sampling event was <br /> conducted on the monitoring well network Field procedures were performed in accordance with <br /> procedures outlined in Monitoring Well Installation and Interim Ground Water Remediation <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 14 February 2002, a Soiinst water levet meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-16 and vapor well VW1 <br /> On 14 and 15 February 2002, a minimum of 3 casing-water volumes were purged from each well <br /> to be sampled using a PVC submersible two-stage pump or disposal bailer or the wells were purged <br /> dry as occurred in well MW-9 Temperature, pH and conductivity of purged ground water were <br /> • measured at various intervals, depending on the volume of water in each well, using an or Oakton <br /> water analyzers The field data and field sheets are included in Appendix A Purged water was <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc <br /> I <br />
