INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Mr Art Wyatt,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this ground <br /> water monitoring well Installation and third quarter 2001 ground water monitoring report for the site <br /> located at 4511 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California(the site) The location of the site is illustrated <br /> in Figure 1, structures, monitoring well and soil boring locations are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> The site history and a description of previous work performed at the site were detailed in Quarterly <br /> Report-Manch 1996 dated 30 April 1996, prepared by AGE Findings from the latest soil and grab <br /> ground water sampling event were detailed in Quarterly Report-June 1998,prepared by AGE, dated <br /> 22 December 1998 Data from previous ground water monitoring events are Included in the tables <br /> of this report <br /> IThe scope of work for the quarters reported included Installation of four shallow ground water <br /> . monitoring wells and monitoring of the ground water monitoring well network on the site This <br /> report documents the procedures for monitoring well Installation, collection and analysis of soil and <br /> ground water samples, and the results of a ground water monitoring event <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> IOn 05 and 06 June 2001 f ground water monitoring wells were installed off-site as part of the <br /> investigation On 11 June 2001 the newly installed ground water monitoring well were developed <br /> I On 02 and 03 July 2001, a quarterly ground water sample event was conducted on the monitonng <br /> well network <br /> I Field procedures were performed In accordance with procedures outlined in Monitoring Well <br /> Installation and Interim Ground Water Remediation prepared by AGE and dated 26 October 2000, <br /> approved by the PHS-EHD by letter dated 01 November 2000 <br /> I <br /> 21 DRILLING AND SAMPLING <br /> In June 2001,four soil borings were advanced off-site, using a CME-75 drill ng,equipped with 8 25- <br /> Inch diameter hollow-stem augers to advance borings MW 13 through MW16 The drill rig and three- <br /> man crew were supplied by West Hazmat Drilling Auger returns generated by drilling were stored <br /> on-site in Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums, pending laboratory <br /> analysis or proper disposal <br /> i <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc <br />
