INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />' At the request of Mr Art Wyatt,Advanced GeoEnvfronmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this ground <br /> water monitoring report for the third quarter 2000 for the site located at 4511 Pacific Avenue, <br /> Stockton, California (the site) Figure I shows the site location 1 he scope of work included <br />' monitoring of the ground water monitoring well network on the site This report documents <br /> collection and analysis of ground water samples and the results of a ground water monitoring event <br />' Structures, monitoring well and soil boring locations on and adjacent to the site are illustrated in <br /> Figure 2 The site history and a description of previous work performed at the site were detailed in <br /> the Quarterly Report-March 1996 dated 30 April 1996, prepared by AGE Findings from the latest <br />' soil and grab ground water sampling event were detailed in Quarterly Report -June 1998, prepared <br /> by AGE, dated 22 December 1998 Data from previous ground water monitoring events are included <br /> in the tables of this report <br /> 1 <br /> . 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Twelve ground water monitoring wells and one vapor extraction well weresam ur ed and led on <br /> P g P <br /> 18 August 2000 Field procedures were performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water <br /> IQuality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Envlronmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground <br /> storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> On 18 August 2000, a Solmst water Ievel meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> monitoring wells M W 1 through MW 12 and vapor well V W I <br /> After depth to ground water measurements, a minimum of 3 standing casing-water volumes were <br /> purged from each well to be sampled using a PVC submersible two-stage pump (vapor well VW-1 <br /> i6 gallons, wells MW-1 14 gallons, MW-2 and MW-3 10 gallons, M W-4 through MW-7, MW-10, <br /> MW-I lA and MW-12A 9 gallons, MW-8 9 gallons, MW-9 3 5 gallons and wells MW-11B and <br /> IMW-12B 16 gallons) <br /> Temperature, pH and conduc.livity of purged ground water were measured at 3-gallon. 4-gallon, <br /> I5-gallon and 8-gallon intervals, as appropriate for each well, using a Hydae water analyzer The field <br /> data and field sheets are included in Appendix A Purged water was temporarily stored on-site in 55- <br /> gallon DOT-approved H-17 storage drums pending proper disposal Following purging, the depth <br /> Advanced GeoGnvironmental Inc <br /> I <br />
