18 November 2003 AGE-NC Project No 95-0128 _ Page 5 of 7 ' summarized In Table 1 The areal ground water flow direction was inferred to be east to northeast at gradients of between 0 005 feet/feet to 0 006 feet/feet (Figure 3) 3 4 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF MONITORING WELL GROUND WATER SAMPLES TPH-g was detected in ground water samples MW-4,MW-5,MW-11 A and VW-1 at concentrations of 830 micrograms per liter(gg/l}, 25,000 µg/1, 330 gg/I and 21,000 µg/l, respectively TPH-d was not detected in any samples ' Various BTE&X samples compounds were detected In les MW-4, MW-5 and VW-1 at maximum P p concentrations of 160 gg/1 ofbernzene, 180 6,300µg/1 ethylbenzene and 3,800µg/1 xylenes and from samples MW-5 and VW-1 I MTBE was detected in ground water samples MW-2 through MW-5, MW-11 A,MW 1 1B, MW-16 and VW-1 at concentrations ranging from 7 1 �tg/l in MW-3 to 330µg/1 in MW-11A(see Figure 4) No other target analytes were detected in the samples analyzed The analytical results are summarized on Tables 2 and 3 The laboratory reports for the quarterly monitoring event (CTEL Project No CT214- 0310023 and 0310045) and the chain-of-custody form are included In Appendix D I 4 0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS The following conclusions were drawn from the results of tlus quarterly Lnvestxgation 41 WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM • A volume of 179,479 gallons was extracted between 10 March and 11 September 2003 A total of 1,570,378 9 gallons have been extracted since the inception of the ground water treatment in October 2001 • Dunng the this reporting period,approximately 0 38 lbs of MTBE, 0 225 lbs of benzene and 1 86 lbs of TPH-g were removed from the site and treated by the ground water extraction system A total of 9 3 lbs of MTBE, 4 38 lbs of BTEX and 67 3 lbs of TP11-g have been removed since October 2001 Advanced GeoEnvironmenta!Inc.
