. 08 October 1997 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0128 <br /> Page 8 of 8 <br /> be collected at approximately two-hour intervals The samples will be collected in Tedlar <br /> bags and stored in a cool container and transported under chain-of-custody to a state-certified <br /> laboratory for analysis <br /> 5 Each vapor sample will be analyzed for TPH-g, TPH-d, BTE&X and MTBE, TBA, DIPE, <br /> ETBE, TAME in accordance with the appropriate EPA methods <br /> 6 A compressor-driven unit will be used to inject air at a minimum of 15 pounds per square inch <br /> (PSI) into the subsurface using selected IAS wells <br /> 7 Parameters to be measured throughout the IAS pilot test include induced pressure at <br /> monitoring points, sparging rate(discharge rate), vapor concentrations at morutoring points, <br /> depth to ground water in surrounding wells and dissolved oxygen (DO) <br /> 8 Ground water samples will be collected from selected wells prior to initiation of the pilot <br /> study (baseline) and at the completion of the pilot study Ground water samples will be <br /> collected in 40-m1 VOA vials using a disposable plastic bailer <br /> 9 Ground water samples will be transported under chain-of-custody to a state-certified <br /> laboratory Each sample will be analyzed for analyzed for TPH-g, TPH-d, BTE&X and <br /> MTBE, TBA, DIPS, ETBE, TAME, dissolved iron and manganese concentrations in <br /> accordance with the appropriate EPA method <br /> 45 REPORTING <br /> A report detailing the results of the investigation will be prepared The report will be in a format <br /> acceptable to the PHS-EHD and CVRWQCB If appropriate, the report will be a revised Corrective <br /> Action Plan, detailing soil and ground water remedial alternatives for the site and presenting w <br /> recommendations for the most cost-effective remediation method(s) The report will be reviewed and <br /> signed by a California Registered Geologist <br /> Advanced GeoEmironmentai,Inc. <br />
