A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go to the DTSC web site http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/IDM nifest/PERMHWID.cfm for the form to reactivate the ID number . Immediately reactivate your State ID number andbmit evidence to the EHD. A form was provided at the time of inspection. This is a repeat violation, C ass II. 102 CCR 66262.11, 66262.40(c� Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste or retain waste analysis on site for 3 years. Metal fines generated from rake lathe are being recycled as scrap metal without first determining particle size or hazardous properties. Any erson who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop recycling eta] fines, make a hazardous waste determination for the metal fines, and manage it according to Title 22 hazard us waste regulations. Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste if the metal is determ ned to be a hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste s managed. This is a minor violation.
