(GR) is forwarding'information regarding the disposal of drill cuttings and <br /> rinsate water generated during the abandonment of four 'groundwater 'monitoring wells'at .the- above site. - <br /> Abandonment activities were performed on Aiigust 27 and 28;,1998,and was witnessed by a San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Division representative on-August 27: <br /> Approximately 225 gallons of water generated during steam cleaning-of the drill augers and the rinsing of the <br /> concrete mixer were stored on-site in drums. The water was removed'on August 31, 1998 by GR personnel and <br /> transported to the Tosco Refinery in Rodeo, California for treatment under a NPDES permit granted by the San <br /> - Francisco Region of the Cahfomia Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br /> Approximately'5 cubic yards of drill cuttings were also generated during abandonment activities: Upon receipt of <br /> soil stockpile sample analytical. data and disposal approval,-the soil will-be transported to Forward Landfill in <br /> Stockton, California.
