Repair <br /> If an agreement is reached and the tank is to be repaired, proceed as <br /> follows: <br /> A. The tank must be mechanically ventilated at all times. <br /> B. Complete the Confined Space Entry Permit and post at each tank <br /> entry hole. (Note: A new Confined Space Entr7 permit is required <br /> for each day's entry. ) <br /> C. Instruct the safety observer of his duties and emergency <br /> procedures. <br /> D. A safety harness with lifelines is required for hot tank entry. <br /> Use of an air-supplied mask and Egress air cylinder required unless <br /> absolutely certain tank never had product in it. If an air-fed <br /> mask is not used: <br /> 1) During grinding, goggles or a hood and an approved orianic <br /> respirator are to be worn. <br /> 2) During layup work, or at ani time resin is in the tank, goggles <br /> and an approved organic respirator or a fresh air mask must be <br /> worn. <br />
