The status report for the third quarter of 1992 was <br /> submitted during the first quarter of 1993. it is unclear why there is such a delay in submitting these <br /> reports to PHS/EHD. <br /> In the future, please submit the status report within the month following the end of the reporting quarter. <br /> In addition, the status report must present all data collected in the field, including temperature, pH, and <br /> conductivity measurements, any field observations noted by the sampler, depth to water measurements <br /> prior to purging and at the time of sampling, and the total volume of water purged prior to sampling. ' <br /> This information will allow PHS/EHD to evaluate the data presented in the report for the degree of <br /> reliability in representing actual site conditions. <br /> Site inspections are an important aspect of regulatory oversight.
