Drill four soil borings to determine the extent of hydrocarbons in <br /> the subsurface. <br /> 3. Collect soil samples every 5 ft to determine the subsurface sediment <br /> and hydrogealogic characteristics and for passible chemical analysis. <br /> 4. Survey the sail samples in the field with a portable organic vapor <br /> analyzer (OVA) to determine the presence or absence of volatile <br /> 4 hydrocarbons in soil. <br /> 5. Select sail samples based on field observations for chemical <br /> analysis. Analyze the samples for total fuel hydrocarbons (TFl1C) by <br /> EPA Method 8015, gas chromatography/flame ionization detection <br /> (CC/FID). <br /> -inch-diameter ground water monitoring wells. <br /> 6. Complete the borings as 4 <br /> 7.
