I <br /> SUBSURPACB CONDITIONS <br /> Strong gasoline odors were noted by field inspection during <br /> the drilling and sampling of monitoring well 1 from the ground <br /> surface to a depth of approximately 6 feet below grade. a slight <br /> gasoline odor was noted in monitoring wells , 2 and 3 starting <br /> ` at depths of 19 feet, 12 feet and 18 feet below grade respec- <br /> tively. <br /> Groundwater was encountered in the three monitoring wells at <br /> a depth of approximately 24 feet below grade. Analysis of <br /> groundwater samples collected of October 3, 1986 indicated the <br /> presence of dissolved hydrocarbonu in all three wells.
