Soil sample <br /> designated PXX was collected in the bottom center of this <br /> excavation. Sample locations and approximate locations and <br /> extent of these excavations are shown on figure 4 . <br /> Stockpile Remediation <br /> The soil excavated during remediation activities around the <br /> former waste oil tank area had been pre-characterized by <br /> analysis performed on waste oil stockpile samples collected <br /> during the recent tank removal activities . This soj.l was <br /> approved for treatment and disposal at Forward Landfill <br /> located in Stockton, California. The non-hazardous soils <br /> were transported to Forward by Golden West Builders during <br /> excavation activities . <br /> Stockpiled soils segregated from the former fuel UST complex <br /> overexcavation that were below laboratory detection limits <br /> for TPH-gas and BTEX, were reused as backfill material on <br /> site. The remaining stockpiled soils (approximately 1600 <br /> cubic yards ) were composited for disposal characterization <br /> and accepted at Forward Landfill . These soils were also <br /> transported to Forward during excavation activities by <br /> Golden West Builders . Forward Landfill acceptance number for <br /> this site is 93-342 and copies of the non-hazardous <br /> manifests were sent to Chevron U. S .A. and Golden West <br /> Builders . <br /> .F <br />
