S .A. <br /> 2410 Camino Ramon <br /> San Ramon, California 94583 <br /> Attention: Brett Hunter <br /> Reference: UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK AND LINE REMOVAL REPORT <br /> Former Chevron Station No. 9-6465 <br /> 5608 North Pershing Avenue <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This report summarizes the field activities performed at the <br /> • above referenced site (figure 1 ) during the recent removal <br /> of the underground storage tanks (UGSTs ) and associated <br /> piping. Removal and excavation activities were performed by <br /> Golden West Builders of Livermore, California . Touchstone <br /> Developments (TD) was present on-site to observe the UGST <br /> and product line removal, and to obtain soil samples from <br /> the tank excavation, piping trenches , and associated soil <br /> stockpiles . The soil sampling and analysers described in this <br /> report were performed March 16, 1993 to comply with the <br /> current Tri-Regional Water Quality Control Board and San <br /> Joaquin County Guidelines . <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site was occupied by a Chevron Service Station which has <br /> recently been closed and is scheduled for demolition. The <br /> former UGST complex was located east of the former station <br /> building ( figure 1) and consisted of three 10, 000 gallon <br /> double wall fiberglass tanks . The tanks contained regular <br /> unleaded and supreme unleaded gasoline and unleaded plus <br /> (formerly leaded) gasoline. A 1000 gallon double wall <br /> fiberglass waste oil tank located north of the former UGST <br /> complex was also removed. <br /> FIELD EXCAVATION ACTIVITES <br /> The four UGSTs and lines were removed on March 16, 1993 . <br /> UGST removal and sampling was witnessed by Pamela Violett, <br /> R.E .H.
