Ni 2: 26
16 June 1993
(GeoAudit 718-S)
Mr. Harlin Knoll
San Joaquin County PHS/EHD
P. O. Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Subject: Addendum to Soil Boring Site Assessment Work Plan
Marino Bros. Trucking
3516 Newton Road, Stockton, California
Dear Mr. Knoll:
According to information provided by your office, at least one of
the underground storage tanks (UST' s) at the referenced site was
used to contain diesel fuel . Therefore, selected soil samples from
the borings will be analyzed for TPH as diesel in addition to TPH
as gasoline and BTE&X.
Your office also advised that we should consider a boring north of
the UST' s, south of the pump islands. GeoAudit proposes to locate
a boring near the southern portion of the pump island, east of the
UST' s. This boring will be drilled instead of the boring proposed
for east side of the main structure, south of the UST ' s on the
original site plan. Precise boring locations will be illustrated in
a report following the drilling and analysis.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact our office.
Sincerely,
GEOLOGICAL AUDIT SERVICES, INC.
26
ob Marty
Project Geologist
cc: Mr. John Urrutia - Bank of Stockton
Environmental Services • Hydrogeology•Geotechnical Services
