Gloves <br /> and boots will be decontaminated in a 5% solution of trisodium <br /> phosphate and rinsed with water which will be disposed of on- <br /> site. Respirator cartridges, inner gloves and coveralls will be <br /> placed in a drum on-site for disposal. No one will exit the site <br /> with contaminated clothing or equipment. <br /> EMERGENCY RESPONSE <br /> The potential exists for fire, explosion or toxic material <br /> release during on-site activities. Prior to commencement of any <br /> activities, personnel will have available telephone numbers and <br /> contacts for emergency response assistance including: <br /> Ambulance-911 <br /> Fire Department-911 <br /> ° Hospital-St. Joseph's Medical Center, 1800 N. <br /> California Street, Stockton, CA ( 209 ) 467-6400 <br /> Poison Control Center-1-800-342-9293 <br /> ° San Joaquin County Emergency Services Underground <br /> Service Alert-1-800-642-2444 <br /> Emergency equipment on-site will include: <br /> Portable eyewash bottles <br /> ° A dry chemical fire extinguisher <br /> ° Industrial first aid kit <br /> SITE SECURITY <br /> Access during all on-site activities will be restricted to <br /> authorized personnel. All personnel and authorized visitors must <br /> contact the Safety Coordinator/Project Manager prior to entering <br /> and exiting site. To reduce potential exposure to the staff and <br /> students of Waterloo School the excavation and aeration of the <br /> soil will be done during the summer. Aeration will be performed <br /> in the 5 undeveloped acres adjacent to the school. <br /> RECORD KEEPING <br /> All site safety records pertaining to the site characterization <br /> study will be maintained by the Safety Coordinator/Project <br /> Manager throughout the project. <br />
