Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE: Well Destruction, Site Code 1013, City of Stockton Fire Station No. 6, 1501 <br /> Picardy Drive, Stockton, California. <br /> Dear Ms. Hinson <br /> This letter.has been,prepared',on .behalf of-the City 9,f-Stockton to ,surnmarize.,,well.destruction <br /> activities at the above referenced,site (Figure 1). <br /> Monitoring Well Dest,-oction <br /> On April 26, -1993 site monitoring well MW 1 (Figure 2) was destroyed.under permit No. 93- <br /> 0704 in accordance with State and San Joaquin County Public Health Services/Environmental <br /> Health Department (PAS/.EHfD).requi:re7ments. The well'was pressure grouted with neat cement <br /> provided by Spectrum Exploration (Lic. .No. C57 512268) tinder the supervision of RESNA <br /> Industries, Inc. (RESNA) personnel. <br /> Prior to grouting activities the bottom-of the well was measured at 36.5 feet below grade. -A <br /> Approximately 25-30 gallons of neat cement was subsequently pumped into the well casing. The <br /> upper 3.5.feet of,the well was then excavated and removed with a hollow stem auger drill rig. <br /> Subsequent.to,curing of the cement grout the open hole-was -then backfilled-«lith clean native <br /> material from'othe.r areas of the property -so that`site .restoration can occur. _ <br /> L451 d93.FNL <br /> S <br />
