SITE CODE 1013
Soils removed from Fire Engine Company #6, 1501 Picardy Drive, are stockpiled at the City's
Municipal Service Center, 1465 South Lincoln Street. Characterization of this stockpiled
material was included with the 1992 Third Quarter report dated September 22, 1992. Only one
sample indicated any contamination and it was only 33 parts per million. Table 3 from cited
report is attached.
Due to the high quality of this soil and the extremely low contamination levels, the City
proposes to use this material as road base or, if acceptable, as cover at the City's landfill sites.
Please advise if anyspecific records of disposal are required.
po eq
Based on our discussions, we believe this action will allow closure of this site.
