(PAR) that will define the remaining
soil contamination.
The site was not discussed during the March 2 meeting, therefore, the funding status of this site is
unclear. Please confirm in writing the length of time necessary to accomplish preparation of the
addendum to the August 23, 1991 PAR
Additionally, it will be necessary for the City of Stockton to maintain quarterly monitoring of the well
pursuant to Section 2652(d) of the "Underground Storage Tank Regulations" (California Administrative
Code, Title 23, Subchapter 16).
The quarterly monitoring reports shall be submitted to Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) until the investigation
and cleanup of the site is deemed adequate. The report is to show the:
-status of investigation and cleanup activities including the results of all
investigations completed to date;
-proposed continuing or next phase of investigation;
-method of cleanup proposed or implemented, schedules
for the completion of the investigation of the site and remediation;
-method and location of disposal of the released hazardous substance and any
contaminated soil, groundwater or surface water;
-manifest required for transport of hazardous substances;
-monitoring well data including groundwater elevation, pH, conductivity, gradient;
-analytical results of groundwater or soil sampling; and
-site map showing the "zero Iine" of contamination, if known, and changes in the above
measurements over the last quarter.
Ideally, the first reporting quarter 1992 report should be clue on April 30,1992 for the months of
February and March. Please provide written confirmation as to when quarterly monitoring may
commence.
Should you wish to discuss this or if you have any questions, please contact Diane Hinson, Supervising
REHS, at (209) 468-3452.
Jogi Khanna, M D., M.P.H.
Health Offi
I
urie A.
