PILGRIM STREET, Stockton has been approved by San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD). The plan is a proposal to treat/aerate <br /> excavated soil which has been contaminated due to unauthorized releases from the <br /> UST which was located on the property. <br /> EHD has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with California <br /> Health & Safety Code Chapter 6.7, Section 25299.37 and California Code of <br /> Regulations Corrective Action Requirements, and that the resultant work will not create <br /> significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from <br /> cleanup of the contamination. <br /> The remediation plan is available for public review at PHSIEND, 304 E. Weber Avenue, <br /> Stockton during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Treatment of the <br /> excavated contaminated soil is scheduled for July, 2004. <br /> Questions regarding the specific site concerns or procedures should"be directed to <br /> Harlin Knoll, Senior REHS, at (209) 468-3442 or sent in writing to him at 304 E.
