Chain-of-custody protocols will be used to document
sample custody transfer from the field to the analytical laboratory. A chain-of-custody form will
accompany the samples.
The proposed soil boring location is illustrated on Figure 2. Following borehole advancement,
portland cement (grout mix) will be utilized to backfill the borehole from total depth utilizing a
down-hole tremie pipe. The EHD will be given a 48-hour inspection notice to inspect the grout mix
and backfilling activities.
4.2. EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION
All sampling tools used for sample collection will be thoroughly rinsed with clean water after being
washed with a solution of Alconox. All down-hole drilling and sampling equipment will be pressure
washed prior to starting each boring.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
