Before delivery of any material to the project site, the following samples and descriptive <br /> 15 literature shall be submitted and approved. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 B. Descriptive Literature: <br /> 18 <br /> 18 1. Color catalog showing the shingle manufacturer's standard colors. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 2. Shingle manufacturer's descriptive literature covering installation: 3 copies. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 C. Samples: Composition shingles, three 3-tab pieces. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 1.03 DELIVERY AND STORAGE <br /> 2s <br /> 27 Deliver materials to building site in manufacturer's unopened bundles and containers with <br /> 28 the manufacturer's brand name marked clearly thereon. Keep materials dry, covered <br /> 29 completely and protected from the weather. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 1.04 WARRANTY <br /> 32 <br /> 33 The Contractor shall furnish the shingle manufacturer's standard commercial warranty of five <br /> 34 years from the date of shingle installation for the self-sealing type shingles. The warranty <br /> 35 shall run directly to the Agency. In no event shall the warranty period be less than five <br /> 38 years from the date of shingle installation. Repair and replacement of defective work shall <br /> 37 be done without cost to the Agency. the warranty shall provide that if within the warranty <br /> 38 period the self-sealed shingles tear or blow off the roof in whole or in part because of <br /> 39 winds of any velocity less than 60 miles per hour, as determined by the nearest U.S. <br /> 40 Weather Bureau Office, replacement of shingles, including both labor and materials, shall <br /> 41 be the responsibility of the shingle manufacturer. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 <br /> as PART 2: MATERIALS <br /> 45 <br /> as 2.01 MINERAL SURFACED COMPOSITION SHINGLES <br /> 47 <br /> 48 Shingles shall be fiberglass, U.L. Class A Fire Resistance, U.L.
