Horizontal sliding window frames shall be a minimum of 2-1/8 inches deep, with corners <br /> ' 33 mortised and securely joined with double-plated steel screws engaging integral extruded <br /> 34 screw races. All joints shall be completely sealed to prevent water penetration. <br /> 35 <br /> ' 36 B. All members shall be extruded aluminum alloy 6063-T5. Component parts and accessories <br /> 37 shall be double-plated steel, aluminum, polycarbonate, or other corrosion resistant material. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 C. All vent stiles shall be full tubular aluminum extrusions. <br /> ' 40 <br /> 41 D. Window vents and fixed panels shall be assembled around the glass utilizing full channel <br /> 42 vinyl gaskets. The frame corners are to be rigidly held with double-plated steel screws <br /> ' 43 engaging integral extruded screw races in the horizontal members. Vent weatherstripping <br /> 44 shall be a single plane, and shall be polypropylene pile incorporating a mylar film. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 E. Glazing shall be accomplished by bedding glass against glazing stop with polyisobutylene <br /> 47 tape.
