' 1 SECTION SP z 3 SPECIAL PROVISIONS 4 5 6 spot SCOPE AND LOCATION OF WORK: The work to be performed under this contract 7 consists of the installation of all Owner furnished materials and equipment 8 and the furnishing and installation of all labor, materials, plant, and 9 equipment, and constructing therewith the Flag City Wastewater Treatment 10 Plant, complete and iii satisfactory operating condition, all as shown on the 11 plans and/or specified herein. All Owner furnished materials and equipment 12 shall be installed in conformance with the manufacturer's recommendations and 13 these specifications. The work is to be performed on the Flag City property 14 as shown on the plans. 15 16 SP.02 AGENCY: Flag City, L.P. is the 'Agency/Owner' referred to in Paragraph G1.03. 17 18 SP.03 ENGINEER: The Engineer referred to in G1.06 on Page G-2 shall mean Dillon and 19 Murphy, Consulting Engineers. ' 20 21 SP.04 AWARD OF CONTRACT: Award of Contract will be negotiate by the Owner. 22 23 SP.05 CONTRACT DRAWINGS: The Contract drawings consist of 44 sheets, entitled Flag 24 City Wastewater Treatment Facilities, dated August 1994 and are bound in a 25 separate volume. 26 27 SP.06 PERMITS AND LICENSES: The Contractor will be required to obtain all permits 28 and licenses required for performance of work of the project. 29 3o SP.07 APPLICABILITY OF SPECIFICATION SECTIONS: The Technical Specifications are 31 arranged in a number of sections for convenience. This specialization does 32 not necessarily delineate trades, limits of responsibility, or subcon- 33 tractors' activities. All sections are to be considered interdependent and 34 related, and all are applicable to the entire project. 35 36 SP.08 WORK AREA: Work of the project shall be limited to the Wastewater Treatment I 37 Plant site as shown on the plans. 38 39 SP.09 MEASUREMENT & PAYMENT: The various items listed in the BASE BID SCHEDULE are 40 defined as follows: t 41 42 i. Mobilization Bond & Insurance Costs: The price bid for this item shall 43 include all costs of mobilizing and setting up for the job, costs of all 44 bonds required, and all insurance costs specified to be carried. This 45 item covers the entire project. 46 47 2. Wastewater Treatment Plant: This item includes all work of the entire 43 project not included in Items 1 and 7. Price bid shall include all labor, 49 materials, equipment, tools, and accessories for a complete, operable 50 installation. SPECIAL PROVISIONS SP-1
