shall not be permitted within any airport's influence area. Specific characteristics to be avoided include: <br /> 1. Glare or distracting lights which could be mistaken for airport lights. Reflective materials are not <br /> permitted to be used in structure or signs (excluding traffic directing signs). <br /> 2. Sources of dust, steam, or smoke which may impair pilot visibility. <br /> 3. Sources of electrical interference with aircraft communications or navigation. No transmissions <br /> which would interfere with aircraft radio communications or navigational signals are permitted. <br /> 4. Occupied structures must be soundproofed to reduce interior noise to 45 decibel(dB) according <br /> to State guidelines. <br /> 5. Within the airport's influence area, ALUC review is required for any proposed object taller than <br /> 100 feet above ground level (AGL). <br /> b. Regardless of location within San Joaquin County, ALUC review is required in addition to FAA <br /> notification in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations, Part 77, <br /> https://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text- <br /> idx?SID=42d48741 1 c933cc19a992a86b2a88e01&mc=true&node=pt14.2.77&rgn=div5 <br /> (https://oeaaa.faa.gov/oeaaa/external/portal.jsp) for any proposal for construction or alteration under <br /> the following conditions: <br /> 1.
