Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br />modified. <br />A. A soil suitability study shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department indicating <br />that the area is suitable for septic system usage. The study must be approved by the <br />Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of building permit(s). (San Joaquin County <br />Development Title, Section 9-1105.2 (d)). A review fee of $250 must be paid at time of <br />submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br />The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br />County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic <br />tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is <br />required for each parcel. A permit fee of $125 per percolation hole is required. <br />B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for nitrates with the results submitted to the <br />Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be <br />taken and analyzed by a State -approved laboratory. (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br />Section 9-1115.7). <br />C. Submit to the Environmental Health Department revised site plans showing the maximum <br />number of persons the sewage disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on <br />revised plans that the leach field area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, <br />or used as a storage area. This leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, <br />and it cannot contain any underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br />Section 9-1110.4(c)(5)). <br />In addition, the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100% designed sewage disposal <br />replacement area. <br />D. For modular office trailer open, pump, and backfill the septic tank, seepage pit or excavation <br />under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin County <br />Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br />
