Lake Mead Boulevard, Suite 100
Las Vegas, NV 89128
Subject: Engineered Septic System
Sunrise Trucking
APN: 193-320-16
865 E. Roth Road
Lathrop, California
Project Number: NA157003G
Dear Mr. Singh:
Per your request, our office has completed a revision of the engineered septic system design for
the proposed Sunrise Trucking project, APN: 193-320-16, located at 865 East Roth Road in
Lathrop, California. Our original design was contained in plans and letter dated October 23, 2015.
Our office also performed a Nitrate Loading Study and Soil Suitability Study or the subject
property, dated October 23, 2015, as well as a geotechnical investigation (NA155005), dated April
15, 2015.
The previous design was for a single toilet and sink to service two (2) employees located at the
guard shack, but with a leach field sized to handle the future expansion of up to ten (10) additional
employees. It is now desired to construct the septic system for all future expansion. The system
will service three (3) separate toilets and sinks located at the guard shack, a 2,100 square foot
office building, and a future truck repair/service building respectively. A 1200 gallon septic tank
and a duplex pump lift station will be located at each location. All three pump lift stations will be
connected with 2" tight lines to the leach field distribution box. Since the leach field was originally
designed to accommodate future growth, no resizing or re -calculation of the system is required.
However, it was desired to relocate the leach field from adjacent to the guard shack to the rear
north side of the parcel.
An engineer from our office visited the site on July 8, 2016 and excavated a 4.0 foot deep test
hole in the new location of the proposed leach field. Soil encountered in the test hole consisted
of silty sand, similar to that encountered in our original percolation test hole. Consequently there
is no change to the percolation rate used in design.
Please see the attached plans regarding the re -designed septic system layout.
Lodi • Sacramento • Concord
Phone: 209.367.3701 • Fax: 209.333.8303 • www.noanderson.com
902 Industrial Way, Lodi, CA 95240
