IGround Water Monitoring Report - Fourth Quarter 2001 <br /> TRACY MARINE SALES <br /> I2353 Toste Road, Tracy, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> I At the request of Mr Joe Toste, Jr , Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 2353 Toste Road, Tracy, California The site and the <br /> surrounding area are illustrated in Figure l On-site structures,boring locations and monitoring well <br /> locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> Eleven ground water monitoring wells were purged and sampled in December 2001 Background <br /> information is summarized in the AGE-prepared report titled Additional Site Assessment Work Plan, <br /> dated 26 September 2000 <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for investigations ofunderground storage tank(UST)sites The field <br /> work was conducted in accordance with EHD guidelines for sampling ground water monitoring <br /> I• wells <br /> I2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 20 December 2001, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> Iin eleven wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient <br /> were determined from these data (Table 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, disposable plastic bailers were used to purge the wells <br /> of standing water Approximately 5 5 to 6 5 gallons of water(a minimum of 3 casing-water volumes <br /> I per well) were removed from wells MW1, MW3,MW4, MW5, MW7, MW9, MW10 and MW11 <br /> Monitoring well MW6 was purged of approximately 12 gallons of water and approximately 2 5 and <br /> 3 gallons of water were removed from wells MW2 and MW$, respectively before the wells were <br /> pumped dry Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at regular intervals <br /> during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and data are included in Appendix A <br /> Purged water was stored on-site in labeled,55-gallon Department of Transportation(DOT)-approved <br /> I drums <br /> I <br /> • <br /> I <br /> I <br />
