INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Joe Toste Jr , Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 2353 Toste Road, Tracy, California The site and the <br /> surrounding area are illustrated In Figure 1 On-site structures, boring locations and monitoring well <br />' locations are Illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> Eight ground water monitoring wells were purged and sampled on 08 December 2000 Field work <br /> Iwas performed in accordance with PHS-EHD approved Site Assessment Work Plan Addendum,dated <br /> 28 July 1999 <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> IThe quarterly report is prepared In accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br />' Background Information Is summarized In the AGE-prepared report titled Preliminary Investigation <br /> and Evaluation Report, dated 30 March 1999 <br /> I2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> I On 08 December 2000, a Solianst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> In eight wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient were <br /> determined from these data(Table 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, a disposable bailer was used to purge monitoring well <br /> MW-1 of standing water A two-stage submersible pump was used to purge the remaining wells of <br />' standing water Approximately 6 to 8 gallons of water(a mimmum of 3 casing-water volumes) were <br /> removed from wells MW-1, MW-3, MW-4 and MW-7 Monitoring well MW-6 was purged of <br /> approximately 15 gallons of water and approximately 4 gallons of water were removed from wells <br />' MW-2, MW-5 and MW-8 before they were pumped dry Ground water temperature, pH and <br /> conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using a Hydac water analyzer Field <br /> sheets and data are included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on-site In labeled, 55-gallon <br /> IDOT-approved drums <br /> I22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> • Water samples were collected from each purged well using new disposable plastic bailers Each <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc <br />
