Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2004 TRACY MARINE SALES 2353 Toste Road, Tracy, California 1.0. INTRODUCTION At the request of Mr Joe Toste, Jr , Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 2353 Toste Road, Tracy, California The site and the surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 On-sate structures,boring locations and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Background information is summarized in the AGE-prepared ' Additional Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 26 September 2000 Background information is summarized in Appendix A 2.0. PROCEDURES Eleven ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-11) were purged and sampled on 05 NovPmher 2004 and an ozone-imection air-sbarema system continually operated over the fourth quarter 2004 Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION On 05 November 2004, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in wells MW-1 through MW-I I relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient were determined from these measurements(Table 1) Additionally,a Hanna Instruments (HI) 9025 water analyzer was used to measure the oxidation-reduction potential in the monitoring well network The data collected is presented In Appendix B After recording water level measurements,disposable plastic bailers were used to purge wells MW-1 through MW-11 of standing water Approximately 5 to 6 25 gallons of water (a minimum of 3 rcasing-water volumes per well) were removed from wells MW-1, MW-3, MW-7, MW-9, MW-10 and MW-11 and approximately 12 gallons of water were removed from MW-6 Approximately 2 to 6 25 gallons of water were removed from wells MW-2, MW-4, MW-5 and MW-8 before the wells were bailed dry Ground water temperature,pH and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and data are included in Appendix B Purged water was stored on-site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved drums 2 2 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES iWater samples were collected from the purged wells using new disposable plastic bailers after Advanced GeoEnvironmentel,Inc
