Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2004 <br /> TRACY MARINE SALES <br /> 2353 Toste Road, Tracy, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Joe Toste, Jr , Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 2353 Toste Road, Tracy, California The site and the <br /> surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 On-sate structures,boring locations and monitoring well <br /> locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Background information is summarized in the AGE-prepared <br />' Additional Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 26 September 2000 Background information is <br /> summarized in Appendix A <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Eleven ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-11) were purged and sampled on <br /> 05 NovPmher 2004 and an ozone-imection air-sbarema system continually operated over the fourth <br /> quarter 2004 Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the investigation of underground storage <br /> tank (UST) sites <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 05 November 2004, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> in wells MW-1 through MW-I I relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations <br /> and gradient were determined from these measurements(Table 1) Additionally,a Hanna Instruments <br /> (HI) 9025 water analyzer was used to measure the oxidation-reduction potential in the monitoring <br /> well network The data collected is presented In Appendix B <br /> After recording water level measurements,disposable plastic bailers were used to purge wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-11 of standing water Approximately 5 to 6 25 gallons of water (a minimum of 3 <br /> rcasing-water volumes per well) were removed from wells MW-1, MW-3, MW-7, MW-9, MW-10 <br /> and MW-11 and approximately 12 gallons of water were removed from MW-6 Approximately 2 to <br /> 6 25 gallons of water were removed from wells MW-2, MW-4, MW-5 and MW-8 before the wells <br /> were bailed dry Ground water temperature,pH and conductivity were measured at regular intervals <br /> during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and data are included in Appendix B <br /> Purged water was stored on-site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved drums <br /> 2 2 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> iWater samples were collected from the purged wells using new disposable plastic bailers after <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentel,Inc <br />
