This report presents the field activities and findings during site reconnaissance activities; the <br /> excavation and visual inspection of two exploratory test pits in an attempt to determine the vertical <br /> and horizontal extent of contaminated soils; the excavation, stockpiling, and sampling of <br /> approximately 300 cubic yards of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soils; proper removal and <br /> discharge of groundwater within the excavation;providing for the collection of confirmatory soil <br /> samples from within the base and sidewalls of the excavation; providing for the collection of one <br /> groundwater sample from within the excavation after allowing proper recharge; providing for the <br /> laboratory analyses of the collected soil and groundwater samples; removal and proper disposal of <br /> approximately 300 cubic yards of contaminated soils to a Class II landfill; regulatory agency <br /> liaison;and compilation and analysis of the collected field datum. <br /> We appreciate this opportunity to be of service.
