,SAMPLE #ESW-2 was another backhoe assisted soil sample collected from the side <br /> rswall of the pit at 1408 hours. The sample was collected at the location shown on the <br /> page 3 diagram at an approximate depth of eleven feet (11.0') below grade. <br /> SAMPLE # ESW-3 was a backhoe assisted soil sample collected from the side wall <br /> of the pit at 1404 hours. The sample was collected at the location shown on the page <br /> 3 diagram at an approximate depth of eleven feet (11.0) below grade. <br /> SAMPLE#ESW-4 was a backhoe assisted soil sample collected from the side wail <br /> of the pit at•1355 hours. The sample was collected at the location shown on the page <br /> 3 diagram at an approximate depth of eleven feet (11.0') below grade. <br /> SAMPLE # ESW-5 was a backhoe assisted soil sample collected from the side wall <br /> of the pit at I358 hours. The sample was collected at the location shown on the page <br /> 3 diagram at an approximate depth of eleven feet (11.0') below grade. <br /> SAMPLE #EBS-1 was a backhoe assisted soil sample coIIected from the bottom of <br /> the pit at 1400 hours. The sample was taken from soil lying below the surface of the <br /> water that was standing in the pit. This material was collected at the location shown <br /> on the page 3 diagram at an approximate depth of thirteen and a half feet (13.5') <br /> below grade. <br /> Our personnel did not collect soil samples from the stockpiles of excavated soil which were <br /> present at the site. These samples were collected by the Wright Environmental personnel, who <br /> logged them on their own Chain'of Custody form and signed them over to our representative. <br /> Those eight Wright Environmental soil samples were designated SAMPLE# COT SP-1 through <br /> SAMPLE # COT SP-8. Our representative took possession of these samples at 1426 hours on <br /> August 25, 1995. <br /> Our representative subsequently signed all the samples over into the custody of the analytical <br /> laboratory at 1605 hours on August 25, 1995. The laboratory will issue their results of analysis <br /> under separate cover.
